I began my writing career at the tender age of eleven. I can’t even remember what the book was about now, but I remember my father suggesting that it be published – but then life got in the way.
Having spent many years developing my skills and writing for various magazines and small publications I finally saw in print my first novel ‘Petals of a Rose’ which has been eighteen years in the making. It took so long because the day job paid the bills and I have worked all of my working life as an accountant.
I have always been, and continue to be, intrigued by relationships and their intricacies; how the actions of one person can affect so much for another person. I enjoy growing relationships and bringing them to life on the pages in my books. I am especially interested in the workings of the mind and how mental illness can affect not only the person suffering but also everyone close to them.
I am married to a wonderful man and have two grown-up children who mean the world to me.
